What was decided upon?
Those who are considered eligible for an alumni VUnetID and access to borrowing at the libraries will now include those designated by the VU Development & Alumni Relations as House Staff or Fellows (designated as HO/FE in the DAR database). Also, students who attended Vanderbilt and took classes, but did not receive a degree, are also considered alumni.
Why was this decided? Some applications for an alumni VUnetID had been declined because of either being House Staff or having never gotten a degree from Vanderbilt. This is a reversal of that policy.
