Recovering deleted items

Occasionally, staff will delete an item or bibliographic record and then realize they made a mistake. In order to recover these, please follow these steps:

In Alma, go to Resources > under Advanced Tools > click on Managed Deleted Repository

Here you can search by All Titles (default), or if you need to recover item records, click the drop down and select Physical Items (you can also recover many others, but I think these two will be the most common). If you know who deleted it, you can search by their name and the date of deletion; or you can search by a date range. Once you find the record you want to recover, click the “Restore” button on that record and voila, the record has been recovered.
