There have been a couple of requests to increase the number of results in Primo VE when conducting a search. The default is 10 results per page. However, Ex Libris has declined this request (via Idea Exchange) and here is the reason:
“We view product performance as a top priority, and invest significant effort on optimizing search response time and UI rendering time.
We believe that keeping Primo’s default number of results is important for maintaining high product performance. This configuration also allows us to perform performance testing and measurements.
This request was previously discuss with the Primo Working Group during NERS process, and it was agreed not to proceed in this direction.”
