Activating a Queued Request

When multiple requests are placed on the same item, the requests are queued.

The list of requests can be viewed from the Request Queue page (you can get to the Request Queue page from Fulfillment>Resource Requests > Monitor Requests & Item Processes; select the Place in Queue value within an entry).

Alternatively, when viewing Physical Titles or Physical Items in Alma, click on the value next to Requests to view “Place in Queue” in a request entry.

From the Request Queue page, choose Activate from the row actions list next to a request to move it to the top of the request queue.  This option appears only if an item is available.
