We have set up the following Borrowing Mediation Rules:
- Document Delivery – Self Owned
- When requested item is owned by the institution and available, stop the request, create it as a lending request, to fulfill locally
- Applied label: document_delivery; self_owned
- Action: fill locally
- Request with Notes
- If Note field is not empty, stops the request
- Applied labels: patron_note
- Escape labels: Note_Reviewed
- BlankILL Form Request
- If request created from blank form, stops the request for staff review
- Applied labels: Created_From_Blank_Form
- Escape labels: Blank_Form_Approved
- Digital Request Missing Metadata
- For Digital Borrowing Request, if missing ISSN, OCLC Number, Article/Chapter Title, stop the request
- Applied label: Missing_Metadata
- Escape label: Metadata_Added
- Cancelled More than 5
- Stop the request after a patron rquested more than 5 chapter from the same book
- Applied label: More_than_5
- Action: Cancel Request, send the following cancellation note to the patron: You’ve exceeded the maximum allowed number of 5 chapters and copyright guidelines. To proceed, please submit a request for a physical copy of the material. If you need assistance, feel free to contact us.
